Tucked off West End’s main drag is a bunker dedicated to the bicycle. Gear is a specialty store for bicycle enthusiasts, stocking a large range of cool equipment and safety gear for city riding. The space may be tiny, but it is cleverly designed to host some of the latest (and coolest) models on walls, with vintage and retro items available alongside brands Profile, Paul Component, skingrowsback, Cadence, Colossi and Charge. Streetwear from backpacks to t-shirts, shorts and sunglasses is also in stock, with brands including COG, Fuct and Cassius Sunglasses. Plenty of bike paraphernalia also abounds, with specialty (and often hard to find) books, DVDs and magazines aplenty.
