Anthony Attard (formerly of Cicada Group) broke out on his own in early 2017 to open up an eatery in the heart of Fortitude Valley called Fortitude. Drawing upon his extensive experience opening venues such as Firefly, Communal Bar & Eat House and Meat & Eat, Anthony honed in on a style and aesthetic that boasts broad appeal, bolstered by a sterling selection of belly fillers and thirst quenchers made from the freshest ingredients. Fortitude serves Campos coffee plus a range of day-starting breakfasts, takeaway lunches, juices and smoothies. The coming weeks will see Fortitude debut its bistro menu, which will offers diners a the likes of burgers, breakfast burritos, poke bowls and much, much more. On Thursday and Friday evenings the bar opens and starts pouring tap beer, cocktail jugs and a range of unique variations on the classic gin and tonic to help you unwind after a long week.
