Forge Forward is a multidisciplinary hub that encompasses retail, art exhibitions and hands-on workshops with the aim of providing local artisans a leg up when it comes to visibility. Every month, Forge Forward curates the space based on a unique theme, putting together a selection of makers and artists, giving them an opportunity to sell and test the waters without lock-in contracts or sales expectations. Forge Forward offers three tiers for its retail partners – a window-front feature-artist space, wall space for showcase artists dabbling in traditional media, and the retail floor where modular furnishings allow for versatile visual-merchandising positioning. Makers and artists can also host workshops or exhibitions on site throughout their showcase period, while monthly launch events and panel discussions will introduce shoppers to the new theme and incoming designers.
