Florentine Italian Grill and Wine Room


Veteran restaurateur Gianni Greghini unveiled a new project next door to his established Newstead eatery Gianni’s Kitchen, this time focusing his attention on an Italian steak classic – la bistecca Fiorentina. Keeping true to tradition, Florentine exclusively serves world-class Chianina beef cuts, grown and produced in Australia by Isola Chianina in true Italian style. The cattle are completely free range and grass fed, allowing them to grow slower, retaining their marbling and leading to a full-flavoured, deep-coloured, lean and tender bistecca alla Fiorentina. The Florentine menu offers diners a selection of Chianina bistecca alla Fiorentina cuts and a range of Italian-inspired share plates alongside handpicked Italian wines.
