Fitz + Potts
Northside residents Cassie Potts is the owner and operator of the hugely popular and inviting Nundah venue Fitz + Potts. Set on the top level of a former Queenslander, this bar and eatery is a bright and open venue, boasting a 230-square-metre interior and 70-square-metre balcony overlooking Sandgate Road in Nundah’s thriving business centre. The space is entirely decorated in a retro and kitsch manner with separate rooms boasting different vibes. A six-metre-long bar dominates the interior, serving a selection of craft beers from lesser known micro breweries, boutique wines and an extensive range of Australian spirits sourced from micro distilleries. The food offering is entirely vegan, including a selection of jaffles made fresh with range of vegan ‘meats’, cheezes and grilled vegetables, pizzas, and snacks (think pumpkin arancini, gyoza, toasted flatbreads, mac ‘n’ cheeze balls).
