As you open the door to Esprosini, you quickly realise you are in for a special treat. Guests are welcomed by aromas from the kitchen, where passionate owner Pauline is pulling out a batch of muffins from the oven, and husband Mario is roasting coffee beans. Esprosini specialises in blended and single-origin hand-roasted coffee beans. In Pauline’s wholesome foodstuffs, the secret to her success comes from the ingredients she uses. Fresh fruit and vegetables are hand-selected from Charlie’s Fruit Market in Everton Park, while the meat is sourced from a local butcher. Inside, the cafe is a light-filled space and the decor is simple, with wooden flooring and furniture throughout. A splash of colour is added with the addition of Pauline’s artworks, which hang on the walls of the upstairs sitting area. Graced with pots of herbs like basil and rosemary, the tables outside also provide a welcome spot to enjoy a coffee and read the newspaper.
