Embassy Bar
The refreshed 85-year-old Embassy Hotel has been a popular inner-city destination since it re-opened its doors after renovations in 2013. Thanks to its specially crafted rustic interior, the venue has become a cozy haven for drinks and casual dining among young professionals and savvy CBD frequenters. Having been in the Conais family for 15 years, the now-dubbed Embassy Bar got the shake-up from brothers Demetri and Alex. Among the 16 craft beer taps, five are on rotation and the lads have invested in a hand pump for the serious beer drinker’s pleasure. More than 100 bottles can also be found in the fridge, with a fair chunk of Australian brewers including Holgate, Fortitude Brewing, 4 Pines and Vale. Formerly of Malt Dining, chef Rob Campbell can be found in the kitchen conceiving a menu of American-style food for the soul.
