James Street’s resident pothead Arc + Family has opened a private event space and we have three words to say about it – all pink everything. The team has transformed the garden space behind the store to become el’ rosa by Arc + Family, a breezy courtyard and event space, and almost everything has been brushed lick of blush-pink paint. The space is filled with lush greenery and giant cacti and will constantly evolve – on Tuesday to Sunday you can pop in for coffee and pink-hued beverages, the space can be hired for everything from baby showers and engagement parties to pop-ups and photoshoots, and Arc + Family will be hosting a number of its own events, including workshops and screenings of nostalgic movies and TV shows (The OC marathon, anyone?). The el’ rosa team is also working closely with Sina’s Kitchen to offer custom drinks and catering packages for the space. el’ rosa officially opens to the public on Saturday July 7.
