Dot Dash Cafe
With more than 30 years of hospitality experience between them, Dot Dash Cafe’s owners Chris and Mike know how a good cafe ought to run. The duo have put their heads together to come up with a chic coffee and food spot of their own on Hynes Street in Fortitude Valley, delivering grab-and-go and sit-down fare, as well as some delectable specialty brew. Dot Dash Cafe has been designed to offer a multi-faceted experience, with a warm minimalism creating a welcoming atmosphere, boasting communal tables (perfect for meetings) and on-site WiFi. Fortitude Valley diners are not short on lunch options, but Dot Dash is offering a spot to leisurely enjoy a morning or afternoon break, while also catering to the non-stop time-poor workers. A rotating selection of salads, sandwiches, chia puddings, juices and bottled cold-press coffees are available for takeaway, but those keen to sit for a while can enjoy beef shakshuka, Asian soba salads, classic cheeseburgers and much more. Local coffee outfit Bare Bones is supplying the beans, with espresso, batch and cold-drip brew methods available.
