Devon Cafe Garden City

After gaining a loyal following across its three southern cafes, Sydney’s Devon came north to Brisbane, opening its first Queensland cafe at Westfield Garden City in early 2019. The 80-seater venue opens for breakfast, lunch and dinner, with executive chef Zachary Tan creating an all-day dining menu featuring the quirky Asian-inspired dishes that have become favourites at Devon’s three Sydney cafes. By day, you can expect to find signature dishes such as the Croissant St Denis, featuring a ‘ghetto-style’ omelette with lobster meat, bisque beurre blanc, caviar and herbs inside a fresh croissant, and Breakfast with the Sakumas, with miso-marinated king salmon, eel croquette, petite salad, a 63-degree egg, Kewpie mayo and furikake. Come evening, Devon Cafe serves the likes of squid-ink angel-hair pasta with mussels, crab, mentaiko cream sauce, flying fish roe and chives, and sweets such as Devon’s famous DD soft serve with hot chips.
