The menswear boutique has now transferred its presence to James Street, reopening in a larger showroom alongside Scanlan & Theodore. The space is decorated in similar vein to its previous Wintergarden lodgings, with wooden shelving handcrafted by the team holding the brand’s latest collection of signature jackets, trousers and shirts, and a familiar red rug sitting atop polished concrete flooring. Dormeuil ties, fashion tomes and The Cloakroom pocket squares also sit neatly arranged about the shop.

A new Pistols At Dawn made-to-measure denim service launched with the opening of the store last Friday, allowing gents to order a pair of jeans to their exact measurements. Store manager Lachlan Sinclair is on hand to fit the jeans for you, and he also takes evening appointments for fittings. Custom jeans come in three basic fits and are hewn from a range of denims sourced from suppliers used for Pistols At Dawn garments. Once a style is chosen, the jeans are then fitted at a number of points.

In other news, Pistols At Dawn’s brother brand The Cloakroom recently began producing its own publication, The Cloakroom Standard, which delivers manly style tips and updates of the various goings on of the company.
