Made in Africa

Embracing communal eating and the traditional customs of Africa is Moorooka restaurant Made in Africa. Handwoven tables are set with platters of homemade Ethiopian dishes, with diners gathered around tearing off pieces of injera, a pancake-like bread made from teff flour, the staple grain of Ethiopia. The injera acts as a plate on top of which the meal is arranged, with more folded injera arranged on the side to tear up into small pieces and scoop up the delicious fare. Indulge in wholesome dishes such as Tibes Wot – lamb served with onions, green peppers and rosemary – Lentil Stew and Vegetable Sambusa.
