Cupo

From weddings and corporate events to creative workshops, the past four years have seen Cupo increase its profile as one of the most flexible spaces-for-hire in Brisbane’s inner suburbs. Co-owned and operated by Leah Tilney of award-winning dance company Elements Collective and DJ-turned-food-whiz Trent Wildman, Cupo’s reputation has steadily grown since its inception. Cupo is a fully renovated urban warehouse that prides itself on its versatility and suitability for various occasions. Natural lighting, polished wooden floors, industrial fittings and full-length mirrors help set the scene, with a capacity large enough to seat 150 patrons or host 200 for a cocktail style event. Cupo can be furnished as you wish with help from a preferred stylist, and is open to events such as product launches, corporate functions, birthdays, weddings and even dance classes. The team behind Cupo recently unveiled a brand-new addition to the building underneath the main space – a hub called Concept that boasts two smaller event rooms with bar facilities looking out to McLachlan Street. These added elements provide a greater scope for private functions, with smaller gatherings now catered to perfectly.
