Another piece of the Westfield Chermside dining precinct fell in to place in the final weeks of 2017, bringing with it a charming family-friendly approach to Italian cuisine. Casa Cibo is a massive two-level Italian eatery that seats approximately 350 patrons. A bright and airy aesthetic featuring rendered surfaces, marble counters and custom tiling gives the space a rustic Italian feel, in addition to two impressive custom Stefano Ferrara woodfired pizza ovens imported from Naples where patrons can experience some kitchen theatre. Ex-Jamie’s Italian executive chef Joey Goldman has come on board as executive chef at Casa Cibo, creating a wholesome menu prepared across two kitchens including woodfired roasted porchetta, Napolitano-style woodfired pizzas and 24-hour slow-cooked lamb ragu. We can’t forget the wine – there’s plenty on offer at the bar, as well as cocktails for those of you feeling a bit more fancy. Casa Cibo opens for breakfast, lunch, dinner and dessert.
