Just a short stroll from Campos Coffee’s the original Wandoo Street location, the famed coffee roasters opened Campos Piccolo in June 2018. The intimate space serves up coffee and grab-and-go options for breakfast and lunch, including classic avo on toast, gourmet sandwiches, salads and pastries, with limited seating options if you care to dine in. Visitors are greeted with a vibrant commissioned artwork by Matt Texture, which wraps around the cafe’s exterior. The graffiti-style artwork depicts Kenya’s national bird, the lilac-breasted roller, paying homage to Campos’ social projects and initiatives within Kenya and other coffee-producing nations. Campos Piccolo serves up blends across espresso and filter pours, the latter including V60 pourover, cold drip and the buzzing ‘eye opener’ variety.
