Nick and Kristina Maschke know more about coffee than most people will ever learn, which is why their cafe Camp was one of the most talked about openings of 2017. With experience working across popular cafes such as Strauss, Reverends, Day Made by Coffee Supreme and Gramercy, Nick and Kristina accumulated the know-how and inspiration for Camp’s community-minded approach and focus on three key areas – good food, great coffee and excellent atmosphere. Situated in the heart of Albion, Camp boasts a clean and modern fit-out inside a wide-open space, blending comfort and a casual atmosphere that will stand the test of time. Nick and Kristina have selected a few Brisbane roasters to provide the coffee goods, with Parallel Roasters supplying the house blend and Light Coffee Co. also featuring across espresso and filter varieties. When it comes to food, the team has put together an ever-evolving seasonal menu of dishes that communicate a sense of fun and playful experimentation. Snack on the likes of mushrooms with roasted peach and goats cheese, bacon burgers with fried eggs and Maffra cheddar, felafel with cold, roasted tomatoes and cashew cheese and much more goodness.
