Jocelyn Hancock won over Brisbane stomachs long ago thanks to the fantastic range of treats baked at Jocelyn’s Provisions and she has retained her title as queen of baked goods with her new outlet, Cake & Bake. Located on Montague Road in West End, Cake & Bake sees Jocelyn return to her roots and offer take-home goods using produce sourced from across Queensland. Cakes, slices and savoury items are available as well as salads and natural preserves including three fruit marmalade, lemon curd and honey sourced from hives in Killarney. In addition to her own wares, goods are also sourced from providores that Jocelyn favours in her own kitchen. Salami from Salumi Australia, oak-smoked rainbow trout from Harris Smokehouse, Lirah vinegar, pickled beetroot from Farmer’s Kitchen in the Scenic Rim and Pepe Saya butter and marscapone are all available at Cake & Bake. Patrons can grab a cup of Cake & Bake’s custom coffee blend, with beans and grounds available to take away and enjoy at home.
