Stones Corner and Greenslopes residents welcomed a new dining destination to the Logan Road precinct when Cafe Groovy Dessert Bar opened its doors to the public in June. Owned and operated by three close friends with many years of hospitality experience between them, Cafe Groovy specialises in decadent desserts and stunning sweets first and foremost. With a love for the presentation opportunities desserts provide and recognising a lack of dessert bar establishments in the area, the trio set about creating an extensive menu of 18 desserts plus savoury items. Popular dishes such as the waffle tower and pyramid dumplings share menu space with souffle cheesecake, petit fours and churros, in addition to milkshakes, smoothies and Bellissimo coffee. If you are after something savoury, sink your teeth into some salt and pepper calamari, Cajun chicken burgers or fish tacos. On Saturdays and Sundays a breakfast menu is made available for early risers. If you have a hankering for something sweet, give Cafe Groovy Dessert Bar a chance.
