While Mexican food has been all the rage for the past few years – a dose so heavy now part of our day-to-day diet that the scent of chipotle has become part of our personal musk – there has been little hurrah about Mexican liquor. Both a spot for a diner-esque level of Mexican fare and a margarita or two, Cactus Republic serves up a platter of Mexican thirst-quenchers. The in-house tequila bar sees el Jimador, Patrón and Herradura tequilas line the shelves, as well as Mexican beers by Corona, Sol, Dos XX, Pacifico and Negra Modelo.
