Purveyors of fine wine and flavoursome cuisine will appreciate the sumptuous smorgasbord of charcuterie options and carefully selected wines at Cabiria. By day, Cabira is a luncheonette serving classic sandwiches and salads, little morsels and a ‘raw bar’ of oysters and sashimi. The long, narrow restaurant is dominated by a heavy wooden bar extending its length, brass and leather stools and an entire wall of more than 300 Australian and international wines. Wines can be tried in 100ml pours, best savoured with classic dishes like escargot, venison carpaccio, coq au vin, pork terrine, charcuterie and cheese. Consideration and a spirit of hospitality are evident at Cabiria, providing the perfect milieu to enjoy the company of friends.
