The evolution of Broken Hearts Burger Club from pandemic-inspired pastime to Brisbane burger superstar is undoubtedly one of 2020’s biggest success stories. That success continued in 2021 as the crew behind the hugely popular American-style burger joint opened a brand-new locale at Mango Hill Marketplace. Much like at Morningside, a bright, family-friendly subway-tiled veneer – complete with retro analogue charm – has been implemented across the space. Northside locals were blessed with the arrival in June, with the spot – which is larger than Broken Hearts’ Morningside HQ – formed out of an old Hello Harry location. The concept’s lauded menu of smashed-patty cheeseburgers, crispy fries and milkshakes are available for dine in and takeaway. Keep your eyes peeled for more from the Broken Hearts team – a third location is planned for Victoria Point Shopping Centre in September.
