Brisbane Modern Art Gallery
Fortitude Valley’s Modern Art Gallery on Brunswick Street is a hub of creative and aesthetically charming output, showcasing the talents of many of Australia’s emerging, established and veteran talents. Located underneath a Richard Gailey designed church that was built in 1876, the gallery was opened to the public in April 2014 and has hosted numerous exhibitions of paintings and ceramic sculptures from notable artists. It is not uncommon to see works from up-and-coming talents hanging next to offerings from Archibald Finalists, so if you are keen to experience a spectrum of art from a range of creative minds, the Brisbane Modern Art Gallery is the perfect place.
