Iconic pub Brewhouse Woolloongabba (once known as the Clarence Corner) underwent an extensive facelift in 2016, transforming the traditional public house into a new craft-beer haunt Brewhouse. Owners Grant and Michelle Clark, who are also the brains behind Brisbane Brewing Co in West End, have owned the pub since 2010 and have been working to create an exciting new dining and drinking space. Several portions of the space have been converted into relaxed, lounge-style dining and drinking areas, while the beer garden now boasts a new roof with temperature control. The renovation has seen not only a fresh new look for the interior, but also the removal of the TAB and additional of new craft beers and a refined yet traditional pub-style menu. Patrons are more than welcome to eat anything on the menu in any portion of the venue, though the menus are divided into bar bites, a condensed lunch menu and a sizeable sit-down dinner offering to cater for every situation.
