Originally based on the Clarence Coast, Botero coffee roasters expanded its offering to include an espresso bar in Maclean, north of Coffs Harbour, and added a location in the heart of Brisbane in March 2016. Set within a heritage-listed, three storey building on Adelaide Street, Botero serves up great coffee and food for those looking to pop in for a bite or to catch up with friends. Menu options range from day starters such as green tea and fennel cured Tasmanian salmon and pulled pork burgers with kimchi, fennel and apple slaw, tonkatsu sauce, crackling and togarashi. Friday evenings see Botero opening for tapas nights featuring bites such as karage sweetbreads, red curry fish cakes, charcuterie and cheese boards, with a selection of local beers and wines available for post-work tipples.
