Botanica is a wonderland for the health conscious, offering wholesome breakfasts, takeaway salads and sweet treats. Situated on Enoggera Terrace in Red Hill, the petite locale is the creation of former chefs Alison and Brett Hutley. The couple has harnessed a passion for fresh, honest, real food to craft a menu of salads for summer and soups and stews for the cooler months, with plenty of options for the vegetarian, vegan and raw foodie. The cabinet bursts with salads, which rotate depending on the seasonal produce available at the Rocklea Markets. Salads come in small, medium and large takeaway boxes – depending on how many people you’re feeding – and you’re able to sample a selection of flavours within each box, while breakfasts offer up to four options such as coconut quinoa porridge, berry and apple crumble, fresh fruit and raspberry cashew cream.
