Nestled on Latrobe Terrace is Paddington is Blake & Taylor. Originally a Paddington butcher shop built in the late 1800s, the building has transferred some of its old-world charm to Blake & Taylor. This chic cafe meets homewares store is the perfect spot to sip on a Veneziano coffee and wander through the delicate homewares and furniture on display. Blake & Taylor specialises in new and recycled vintage furniture and homewares sourced from mainly from Australia, but also includes a collection of international bits and pieces. The in-house workshop breathes new life into the time-worn pieces, repairing and restoring each to its original glory. Expect to find linen sofas, vintage bedsides, apothecary bottles, cupboards, restored kitchen dressers and chests of drawers. Blake & Taylor also has high tea available.
