Black Hide Steak & Seafood by Gambaro
The Star Brisbane’s dining offering continues to bloom, with its riverside restaurant precinct The Terrace becoming one of the most popular places to dine in The City. Black Hide Steak & Seafood by Gambaro opened at the riverfront forecourt in September 2024, with the newest iteration of the Gambaro Group’s flagship steakhouse taking pride of place just a short 20-m hop from the Neville Bonner Bridge. The 250-seat restaurant has been given a swish interior-design scheme boasting light timbers, natural materials, sage-green banquettes and an impressive tree centrepiece, with a number of spaces (including a cocktail lounge bar, main dining floor and alfresco terrace) giving guests plenty of spots to relx. In addition to its renowned steak offering, Black Hide’s refreshed menu includes a slew of seafood dishes (made using fresh catches sourced from across Queensland), while the venue’s cocktail-oriented lounge bar is dispensing a tight selection of small plates.
