Black Hide by Gambaro at Treasury Brisbane

The Gambaro Group is set for a big year in 2018, following the announcement of Persone in Brisbane Quarter the iconic hospitality group delivered a new Black Hide concept to Brisbane City in partnership with Treasury Brisbane. The two hospitality groups joined forces to create Black Hide by Gambaro at Treasury Brisbane – a top-tier steak and seafood restaurant set within the heritage confines of the casino. The new venue reimagines the space previously occupied by The Kitty cocktail bar, serving up a range of steaks sourced exclusively from Stanbroke Beef. While the menu is similar to Black Hide’s Caxton Street sibling, diners can experience new additions including an eye fillet and sirloin cut of wagyu with a marble score of nine – the highest by Australian industry standards – as well as five, three and dry-aged cuts. The mains are rounded out by the likes of Moreton Bay bugs in lemon caper butter, live lobster, roast duck breast and pork belly, while sides include house-made sausages, freshly shucked oysters, steak tartare, caviar and barbecue beef short ribs. Complementing the restaurant’s stellar steak selection is a vast wine offering, which takes in the width and breadth of Australia’s finest regions as well as choice drops from across the globe.
