Big Roddy’s Rippin’ Rib Shack
Big Roddy’s Rippin’ Rib Shack is the creation of childhood pals David Kempnich and Roderick Saba – he’s Big Roddy for those of you playing at home. The guys are huge lovers of barbecue and after years of appreciation, decided to channel that love into their very own rippin’ rib shack on Fish Lane. No surprises here – ribs are king at Big Roddy’s. You can choose a half or full rack of beef or pork ribs, smothered in one of five different finger-lickin’ barbecue sauces (made from scratch by Roderick) and served with your choice of side – think coleslaw, fries, grilled corn, butter and garlic fried beans, and honey sesame pan-fried carrots. Ribwiches, burgers, buffalo wings and poutine fries are also on the menu, alongside beers, ciders and wines to wash it all down.
Big Roddy’s Rippin’ Rib Shack opens on Saturday April 1 at 5:00 pm.
