Betty’s Burgers Albert Street

You can never have too much of a good thing and this applies doubly so when referring to Betty’s Burger’s locations. After a huge 2019, the Sunshine Coast-born burger chain (which opened new locations at Indooroopilly Shopping Centre and Howard Smith Wharves in January and May, respectively), continued to roll with a new location on Albert Street. Taking over the space once home to The Coffee Club, this Betty’s Burgers is Brisbane’s biggest – 170 seats offering plenty of opportunities for burger-hungry folk to quiet their grumbling tummies. Naturally, you can sink your teeth into Betty’s selection of all-star menu items, but perhaps one of the must-try items would be a relative newcomer. The brand-new Classic Vegan burger aims to cement the oft-overlooked meat-free option as a front runner for your tastebuds, with a crispy fried brown rice and vegetable patty (think of it as a large, slightly smushed arancini ball) topped with tomato, onion, pickles, spicy mayo and lettuce. Joining the Classic Vegan is the beachy Noosa Classic Surf burger, which pays homage to Betty’s coastal origins by layering an Angus-beef patty, lightly battered prawns, lettuce, tomato, onion, cheese and Betty’s special sauce between two buns. For those that love the old-school Betty’s experience, menu mainstays such as the Classic, Crispy Chicken, Betty’s Deluxe and Bare Betty burger are available, alongside tasty sides, decadent custard ice-cream concrete and thick-shakes.
