Rachael Hinton-Smith is the owner and operator of Badminton Brew in Mount Gravatt East. After learning the hospitality trade at her father Michael’s cafe Backstreet Espresso, Rachael decided to open her own space that was equal parts local refuge and community hub. Since opening in December 2014 Badminton Brew has become immensely popular among locals thanks to its cosy fit-out, quality Elixir coffee and tasty snacks and treats. All meals are prepped fresh daily with dine-in and takeaway options available. Badminton’s goods include granola, crepes, croissants, bacon and egg rolls, breakfast quiches and frittatas as well as a range of milk shakes and healthy smoothies.
