Bacchus Brewing Co. is steadily becoming a renowned name in the world of craft beer thanks to their innovative and experimental approach to brewing. Located in Capalaba, Bacchus Brewing Co. is a dual brewery and bar owned and operated by Brewmaster Ross Kenrick. Although the brewery has been operating for five years the bar portion of the premises only opened in August 2014. The bar has been constructed out of old bowling lanes and boasts 15 taps, all pouring beer brewed fresh on site. On site Bacchus has two English hand pumps and one cask, pouring authentic British Real Ales, three smooth pour taps pouring a Pale Kolsch, an Irish Red and a stout, three easy drinking taps, three for hoppy beers and three taps for experimental concoctions like Bacchus’s signature dessert beers. Bottles and growlers are available for purchase on site but Bacchus beer can also be found across Brisbane at bars including The End, Kerbside and the Cardigan Bar. Bacchus Brewing Co. is BYO food, but food trucks stop by on Friday and Saturday nights to fill up empty stomachs.
