Cafe by day and tapas bar by night, Artie & Mai is throwing a spotlight on shared dining – even extending the approach to breakfast. Owners Monica and Jimmy Strong made the move north from Sydney just a few months ago, bringing a wealth of experience from former business ventures including Lilyfield’s Bicycle Garage. Named after the owners’ two children, this new endeavour aims to offer a local neighbourhood hangout where guests can linger long after the sun goes down. A selection of locally crafted brews, wines and cocktails complement the social atmosphere, while Belaroma Coffee and freshly squeezed juices are available for the designated drivers.
