Arlette’s Kitchen

One of Albion’s best-kept foodie secrets won’t remain so secret for long, because Arlette’s Kitchen is a gem that deserves to be shared. Situated on a leafy strip in the heart of Albion, Arlette’s Kitchen is a gorgeous French Vietnamese restaurant that has been owned by Ashleigh Nguyen and Lily Tran nice November 2017. The comfortable space (housed within a stunning Queenslander) offers lunch and dinner service, with brunch available on weekends. The French and Vietnamese fusion offers creative fare that is constantly evolving, with dishes such as BBQ duck pancakes, mixed exotic mushroom dumplings, wild-caught barramundi in Vietnamese-style sweet and sour broth, and pork belly with chilli caramel sauce a perfect example of the imaginative approach undertaken. The weekend brunch offering incorporates contemporary classics and intriguing options such as the crispy pork belly burger with choko pickles, house-made Vietnamese pork and lemongrass sausage and smashed avocado served with black pudding and seared scallops.
