Ant Bowl – Opening Soon

Underwood nosh spot Ant Coffee is known for many things, great coffee and sensational Asian-inspired brunch not the least of them. But ask the crew what the cafe’s true speciality is, and they’ll tell you it’s the Korean-style Bap Bowls, a selection of hearty black-rice-filled bowls crowned with an assortment of drool-worthy ingredients. In news that should excite the inner-city lunch crowd, Ant Coffee is bringing its baps to The City with Ant Bowl – a dispensary dedicated to the colourful, ingredient-packed signature. Located on Adelaide Street, Ant Bowl’s menu will include its crowd-favourite options, like the grilled-tteokgalbi bowl and the sashimi-grade fresh salmon bowl (both coming with sous-vide egg, avocado, kimchi, cherry tomato, sweet corn, gherkins, edamame, furikake and fresh wasabi). Additionally, Ant Bowl will also be serving Korean fried chicken, as well as specialty coffee from Coffee Supreme. Ant Bowl is targeting a late-February opening, and will be selling its bap bowls for $9.90 during its first week of opening.
