Nicole Cottrell has expanded her Bulimba portfolio (which includes Southern Attitude and La Quinta) to incorporate Ambrosia & Co, a Mediterranean-inspired eatery situated in a new space fronting Oxford Street, boasting a bright and airy aesthetic, a new kitchen and coffee facilities. Over breakfast, lunch and dinner, Ambrosia & Co offers a range of tasty meals that are perfect for sharing. Morning eaters can stop by for breakfast bruschettas and heartier morsels such as truffled cheese toasties, shakshouka, breakfast souvlaki and matcha green tea bowls. After 11:00 am the lunch and dinner menu is available, with a range of mese plates, charcuterie boards, dips, souvas and grilled dishes up for grabs. Must try options include Ambrosia’s iskender (charcoal grilled chicken pieces with spiced tomato sauce), shrimp saganaki, moussaka stuffed bell peppers, harrissa spiced chicken. Ambrosia & Co also features a dessert cabinet with a range of sweet treats to sample, and the café serves coffee from a new local roaster, Quaff Coffee, which can’t be found anywhere else in Brisbane.
