Since 2013, Renata Bennetts has owned and operated the humble coffee hub, Ainsdale St Espresso in Chermside West. Boasting a lived in, home-like vibe, charming decorations and friendly service, Ainsdale St Espresso has become a meeting point for many of the northern suburb’s residents. The food offering consists of a neat selection of sourdough and fruit and nut loaf with condiments, banana bread and toasted muesli as well as a selection of baked goods from Emma’s Organics, which are made on site. All treats are gluten-free, a number of which also being dairy-free and vegan. Rotating specials include Bomboloni Fridays with Italian filled donuts on offer, plus Crust & Co pastries available on Tuesday and Saturday. Ainsdale St Espresso serves a custom coffee blend sourced from Bean Green Australia and organic tea from Tour de Tea. Come summer, thirsty patrons will be able to enjoy fresh juices.
