51st Street

George Street welcomed 51st Street with open arms when it opened near the Magistrates Court in early 2017. With an American-inspired concept, the venue – from the brains behind Emjays Coffee and Master Toms – is both a bar and a restaurant, perfect for long lunches or Friday night knock offs. 51st Street features a menu chock-full of seducing snacks, from the Streets Classic burger, pulled pork and quinoa bowl, cheese and bacon loaded fries, hot pancake stacks and more. Seeing a Americans do everything big, so does 51st Street. The Streets Big Burger boasts two beef patties, cheese, bacon, egg, onion rings and pickles, while the share tower can feed four with a stack of loaded fries, chicken wings, and an assortment of pressed sandwiches. The bar features eight taps pouring a rotating selection of craft beers, while a stellar cocktail list and up to 14 whiskies are also available. Non-drinkers can house-made sodas, cold-drip coffee, coffe shakes, milk shakes, juices and superfood smoothies.
