51st Street Eagle Street

Inner-city eaters flocked in droves to 51st Street’s George Street location when it opened in 2017, enamoured by the eatery’s promise of diverse Manhattan-inspired cuisine and lively atmosphere. Almost a year after arriving on the scene, 51st Street opened another location at Eagle Street Pier, plating up a bigger menu of food that will have punters falling in love all over again. The menu is packed with just about everything you could want for breakfast, lunch or dinner, including a collection of stacked burgers, pressed sandwiches, street bowls, starters, share boards and more. We’re particularly intrigued by the BBQ baby back pork ribs, the fluffy pancake stack with grilled banana and caramelised nuts, the Shroomami bowl and the honey paprika barbecued chicken, but we also wouldn’t say no to a sip or two of any of 51st Street’s super shakes, smoothies, housemade sodas or a taste of the house-spun gelato desserts. 51st Street is perfect for a group feast or a pit-stop snack, but one things for certain – you’ll need a few visits to try every delicious thing here.
