Stones Corner’s 5 Boroughs got a younger sibling in early 2016 when a second venue opened on Racecourse Road at the beginning of March. The eatery drawn on the most popular favourite parts of the Stones Corner venue, but giving them a boutique twist, alongside a number of new offerings to create a broader menu – think eight-hour slow-cooked baby back pork ribs and New York-style barbecue dishes. Peruvian, Hispanic and Japanese cuisines have been incorporated to the menu, alongside the usual suspects such as burgers, sliders, sandwiches, criss-cross chips and onion rings. 5 Boroughs Ascot is also be much bigger than the original, allowing for an expanded bar offering (six taps, pouring Brooklyn Lager, Sam Adams and ginger beer as well as a range of local brews) and outdoor beer garden.
