Grange welcomes Oh My Bread, a new artisanal boulangerie from a pair of Crust & Co. alumni

The closure of Crust & Co. after last February's floods was a serious blow for Brisbane's baked-goods landscape. But, like a phoenix rising from the ashes (or, in this case, mud), the brains behind the beloved loaf maker have returned to the scene with a brand-new concept in tow. Now open in a flood-proof part of Grange, cosy croissant slinger Oh My Bread is continuing Crust & Co.'s legacy of making phenomenal French-inspired goods, from dreamy danishes to stellar sourdoughs. Here's what's on offer:

Tandem Coffee Co.

Tandem Coffee Co. was first established in Grange back in 2017, but relocated to Paddington in March 2020 when owners Tom Coats and Olivia Brook sought to add new elements to Tandem’s offering. The round-up: get your carb fix from one of Brisbane’s best bakeries

Let's be real for a spell – is there anything as pure and good as a freshly baked loaf of bread? We think not. If we are being completely honest with ourselves, a simple artisan-baked sourdough or baguette is enough to put a smile on our face, but place us in front of a cabinet filled with flaky croissants, picture-perfect pastries, covetable cakes, tantalising tarts and dreamy doughnuts, and we're liable to cry with unadulterated joy. Brisbane boasts a bevy of fantastic bakeries, from the French-inspired patisseries and the woodfired wonders to the cake-making powerhouses and humble neighbourhood locals.
