Wildernis Cafe and Bar co-owners and Palm Beach locals Andy Canfield and Josh Bailey combined their construction backgrounds with a passion for food to create the new Palm Beach hot spot, which serves coffee, breakfast and lunch daily. Open from 5:30 am daily (that’ll get all you early birds chirping), breakfast and brunch offers a real mix of rustic savoury fare and moreish delights, from the garden-style breakfast with broccolini, spinach, asparagus, kale, avocado, poached eggs and beetroot dust to the fluffy buttermilk pancakes with fresh berries, ice-cream, Nutella and chopped nuts. Come lunchtime you’ll see a wide range of fare, from rare crusted yellowfin tuna with nicoise salad, cauliflower cream and basil oil to grass-fed beef burgers (complete with pickles). After sundown, you’ll be treated to a simple yet flavour-bombed spread of alfresco tapas. Take it from us, they’re all best enjoyed with a Wildernis cocktail.
