West Brew Coffee
Nestled at the bottom of Bilambil Heights and Cobaki, West Brew Coffee is all about specialty brews, breakfast and soon-to-be burgers. The quaint neighbourhood cafe opened its doors late 2017 with the view to establish a coffee culture in the area and judging from the people milling about out the front, they’ve succeeded in their mission. In terms of the drinkables, on offer is Blackboard Coffee, tea and a selection of fresh juices and if you’re feeling peckish, be tempted by the house-made frittatas or something delicious from the cabinet that is brimming with freshly baked goods. If time is on your side, there’s a succinct-yet-satisfying selection of muesli, avo smash and bacon and eggs that is sure to keep the pangs of hunger at bay. The nosh is made using locally sourced produce including bacon from Bangalow, melons from a nearby farm and sourdough that’s handmade by a family friend. West Brew Coffee is a family affair for Leiat Crews, her daughter Kate and son Mitch and offers a warm and friendly vibe that makes you feel right at home. There are plans to expand the food offering to include burgers but for now the Crews’ are focussing on really good brews and breakfast. Pop in and say hi next time you’re in the area.
