The Plantation House Cafe

Situated in a quaint 19th century heritage-listed building is The Plantation House Cafe, an eatery that Valley locals go bananas over. Formerly a house where seasonal banana pickers rested their heads, the venue now offers a rustic atmosphere and family-friendly vibes. Using Adore Coffee and baking in-house treats daily such as fresh scones, muffins and even cronuts, The Plantation House is a great morning tea or lunch spot. Embracing the spirit of its community, the neighbourly cafe even has the option for customers to pay it forward and pay for the next person’s coffee, with each act of kindness registered on the chalkboard behind the counter. You can also buy local honey, homemade relish and even a box of bananas, just as there may have been in times past.
