Formerly The Miami Tavern (and The Shark Bar), The Miami is a two-level beachfront bistro and bar. The bistro menu features elevated versions of your favourite pub-style classics (think burgers, fish and chips, chicken parmigiana and pizzas) as well as a hefty offering of local seafood, a raft of different steaks off the grill and a selection of vibrant salads. The restaurant also features an impressive bar area that’s armed with local and Australian beers (including gluten-free and zero-alcohol beers), wines, spirits and a series of share-style cocktails. Downstairs on street level you’ll find the beer garden, sports bar and TAB, with a further 20 beer taps and an even wider selection of beverages compared to upstairs (beers, wines, ciders, cocktails, spirits, ginger beers – no matter what you sip, it’s here). Food is also served in the beer-garden area, with snackers able to order the likes of burgers, pizzas, steaks and more off a slightly condensed menu of pub eats.
