The seriously impressive fit-out complete with a giant taxidermy moose is your first indication that they do things a little differently here. The drinks list, for instance, meanders over 14-pages and is filled with over 130 different kinds of whisky from around the world alongside craft beer, wine and seasonally-infused old fashioned cocktails. The nosh is characterised as ‘bad food made clean’ and offers epic burgers, classic hotdogs and racks of smoky, spicy ribs. Start with some deliciously cheesy jalapeno poppers before moving on to some saucy buffalo wings, if you can handle some serious heat, the Volcanic Ass Burner is made using the hottest chilli in the world. For the main affair, munch on a burger loaded with free-range Cape Byron Black Angus beef atop a melt-in-your-mouth milk bun, just be sure to leave room for the Snickers ice-cream cake for dessert.
