The Keller Bar

The Keller Bar is located below German-inspired dining hall The Bavarian Haus – one of the Gold Coast’s longest-running restaurants, which opened its doors in Surfers Paradise back in 1975. Once upon a time, The Keller Bar was fully operational – but for the past 15 years it has remained dormant. After a recent six-month refurbishment by the restaurant’s new owners, The Keller Bar re-opened to the public in September 2019. You’ll find a raft of German brews on tap and in bottles, as well as Australian brews and ciders. There’s also traditional German schnapps featured across the cocktail list, with sips like the Apple Strudel with apple schnapps, fresh apple, lemon and cinnamon. For the snackers, there’s everything from giant pretzel bread to kransky and frankfurter hotdogs and haus-crumbed schnitzels on offer, as well as a menu of late-night bites available after 9:00 pm.
