The Freedom Hub on Fifth Avenue is combining coffee and charity with a goal to make real change by helping survivors of modern slavery. The cafe is the second of its kind in Australia and has a goal of providing a ‘survivor school’ as a safe place for victims of human trafficking within Australian borders. Ethical coffee is poured from the Black Eagle coffee machine, served alongside colourful and creative brunch favourites such as zucchini and corn fritters, coconut granola bowls and fluffy vegan pancakes served with Coyo. With 100 percent of the profits going towards supporting victims of slavery, you can enjoy your meal knowing you’re making a difference.
