The Crafty Cow
Those with an appreciation for slow-cooked meats and craft beer will want to follow their noses south to Casuarina’s beachside smokehouse The Crafty Cow. As you’d expect, the menu here is heavy on the meat, featuring share plates brimming with the likes of slow-cooked cuts of brisket, pulled pork and smoked kransky, paired with delicious sides like housemade coleslaw, beer-battered chips and crispy onion rings. Plus, you can get all of that sandwiched together in slider form, if you’re that way inclined. On the beer front, you can expect rustic-looking taps to rotate on the regular to feature the best local brews like Balter, Black Hops and even suds from afar like Canberra’s well-regarded BentSpoke Brewing Co. Keep your eyes peeled for regular wing and rib nights, too!
