The Cardamom Pod Southport

Herbivores, rejoice! The Cardamom Pod has ventured north to the Brickworks Centre at Southport. Open for breakfast and lunch seven days a week, the menu offers some enduring crowd favourites from the Broadbeach establishment including acai bowls and avocado bagels alongside some exciting new creations such as waffles with peanut butter ice-cream and caramelised banana, chickpea crepes and calzones with Indian-spiced tofu. Come lunchtime, the midday menu takes over and offers some equally as amazing meat-free eats including crispy rice paper rolls, potato, tapioca and peanut koftas and even burgers loaded with cassava chips and Mongolian barbecue tofu tacos. The new venue has really stepped things up a notch in terms of food styling and is designed to showcase high quality plant-based ingredients in slightly unexpected ways. Tucked away beside the Ferry Road Market building, The Cardamom Pod isn’t immediately visible however those who endeavour to seek will be rewarded with flavoursome fare and deliciously sweet treats.
